If a department at your college was losing $40 billion a year would they keep it or get rid of it like CBS did with Colbert?

Colbert had the lowest rating and the other shows are losing money as well. It was stated in the article once the merger was completed, it was getting shutdown.

Why should they keep a show that loses money and has poor ratings? To own Trump?
