I really liked the Deion redemption angle when he was coaching at Jackson State.
But his tenure at Colorado shows he is not ready for “Prime Time”.
The bottom line is that this is not a good draft for quarterbacks and most teams already have the young guy they want. I think something like half of the top 15 picks last year were QBs, but only 2 were taken the entire first round yesterday.
I am waiting for some people to play the racism card…
Not sure how successful they would be as the first pick in the draft was a black quarterback.

I think he’s a good QB, but not great (yet, if at all). I think a lot of teams were concerned they would be getting his father along with him. In some ways, I feel a bit sorry for the son

We are getting to the point where some team with a dual-threat quarterback system might take him as a backup (Kansas City, Baltimore, Philadelphia, etc…)
…and the freefall continues…undrafted after 3 rounds.
The curse is on. Pittsburgh drafted a guy yesterday and his mom died. The Saints drafted one and his baby threw up.
