And they likely won’t make money on this. But what industries are these donors in and might the be the recipient of some sweet government money or contracts.

We painted a reflectting pool funded by “private donors” There are plans for an “Arch de Trump” paid for with private donors. I’m just wondering what these private donors are getting in return. It’s been widely reported the cost of the reflecting pool redo was charged to the Natl Parks budget and that the MMA fight costs are all being paid by the UFC.
What about the ballroom costs? What about the proposed monstrosity of the Arch de Trump. Did UFC build the stadium? If they spent that much money for one event, then they may go down as the dumbest sporting event in the history of professional sports..
It’s an outdoor arena. They do this all the time. That’s what my BIL does for a living.
They’re footing all the costs and will reap the profits and publicity. What about the arch? What has been done so far? Is it real or just another Trump wet dream.
