The stats are not going to lie.
In a very short while, we’re all going to know whether or not being cautious, or throwing caution to the wind, made more sense. Someone will be able to say, I told you so.
Place your bets…
We can already do that. Missouri has had few restrictions and has done well.
Sweden had few and who said they’re the model everyone should follow.
It’s a balancing act and most states went to far either direction. Missouri passed a lot to the counties which was smart but some counties did zero restrictions.
The left has been ignoring the stats for months.
Fauci literally said “New York did things right”.
A high school statistics class could have told you otherwise
It’s hard for you to see why. The states with higher numbers of cases and higher death rates have larger black and brown populations. Black and Hispanics are more likely to contact coronavirus and more likely to die from it.
Very short while? I think it’ll take 5 years to figure out which country had the best approach to Covid and economy. America will be tough because there was no federal strategy, each state did different things so it’s hard to tell what would work.
Yes, California has 12 million more people than Texas, but has fewer black residents. Texas has twice the percentage black population and a higher percentage Hispanic population than California (the two groups most effected by covid). California has a much larger Asian population, which are less effected by covid than whites. In Chicago black and Hispanic areas have much higher hospitalization and death rates then white neighborhoods.
It’s not a red state/blue state thing, it’s a black/white/Hispanic thing.
How can that be??? California is such a lovely utopia of inclusiveness, and Texas is only inhabited by white toothless trailer trash & spur-bearing cattle ranchers that are secretly hiding slaves in their cellars.
Yes and Texas’ black population is roughly double that of California. Hey Mcarley, remind us which race is most effected by Covid?* California has almost 12 million more people than Texas, yet has fewer black residents. Do you think that has anything to do with the numbers?
*In case you don’t know, here are the numbers from the CDC.
Also California has a much higher Asian population than Texas, Asians are not as effected by Covid as all other groups including whites. Do you think that has anything to do with the numbers?
