Something similar to this happened to me just this morning. I may have laughed out loud alone in my car.
I’m frequently on both sides of this. Depends on if I’m in a hurry.
I also don’t think of someone as an “impatient driver” (unless he’s being an asshole tailgating or passing unsafely, in which case he’s an “asshole”), but rather someone who wants to drive faster than I do.
I will drive borderline aggressive at times.
This guy flew past me on a road that went from two to one lane, then immediately passed the car in front of me (it was a passing zone), while I was doing 60 in a 45. It is a very curvy road, so not a lot of opportunities to pass, so when I got to where I needed to take a left, I noticed he was at that intersection stuck behind a semi.
I did a toy run this weekend. It had a huge turnout. More bikers than I have seen at this toy run in the past. I also saw more trikes and more people with canes than I have ever seen before. Not many people younger than 40.
Yah, we’ve got a toy run in my area on Sat. This run has been held for maybe 20 years. If the weather’s good we can have 100+ riders!
My lady friend was with me when I was having my car worked on. It was funny because they said it needed the transmission repaired. She started ranting that they were just trying to take my money. They kept trying to tell her it was under warranty.
I have to say, mechanics have a bad reputation.
