I know this is anecdotal, and I am no Dr. With dad it started when he was about 80. Small things at first but slowly but steadily getting worse. Within a year mom got his Dr. to tell him he couldn’t drive anymore. When he was 82 my younger brother died and there was a big drop with him mentally.
Still physical healthy but not so much mentally.
He slowly but steadily continued to get worse. By the time he was 86 I had to retire to help mom with him and take care of everything around the house. Eventually he got bad enough to qualify for extended hospice care. He died last Oct. at 92.
The point I’m making is I see a lot of the same symptoms with Biden that I saw with dad the last few years. Especially the blank stare where they just stare into the distance. I would like to see video of Biden 5 years ago compared to now. I suspect a huge difference. If my untrained views are correct, he will not be functional in 4 more years. That makes the VP candidate even more important. Do we really want Harris in that position?
Speaking of paths to dementia, it’s clear Trump’s path is dramatically steeper, and he’s starting at least 3 years earlier. Reread this carefully if you have the willpower, than get back to me concerning paths to dementia.

I’m not getting near the shark.
Wow, talk about near vertical path to dementia, even spikes on you shoes will be of no help. Sad, and at such an early age. Best start booking a bed in the Hospice Hotel, it will pick up speed quickly.
Do you think any country really looks up to the US with a catatonic president ? Regardless of content, there is a tremendous difference in leadership and command of the podium. Biden looks like a deer in headlights and fumbles through speaking with incoherent drivel.
No question he is on the dementia path…my FIL went through the same thing in his mid 80s and the similarities are glaring.
Most the world is smug. They frown on the US because they were wish they were the US.
Most countries have small country envy. Notice they’ll disparage us then beg for our help.
One of my good friends is in the ICU. They had been searching for her father for a week. They asked me to find him. I googled and found him in two minutes. I’ll admit it did concern me they could t Google and find him. They are polish and his name is very unique. There is one, maybe two in the United States and possibly the world.
He loves America. Why he defected here. He use to live in Austin but moved to get away from the communist. Yes go to open Mike night and all these kids would talk about communism. As a survivor of communism he’d challenge them on their views. He said none of them really knew nothing of communism. He didn’t get why most of them were gay when the ideology is anti-gay.
So he moved to a more red area.
That’s why our country isn’t taken seriously. We have entitled kids preaching a system they don’t understand and won’t listen to someone who not only a communist but fled that system. It’s sums up our country well.
They are not imaginary; only their friendship with each other is. After they achieve political dominance, they’ll turn on each other as they start discovering leftism purity test failures.
I don’t like whataboutism, but in this case I think Sarge’s original question to Branchkin is appropriate. We have two candidates who are up there in age and who both have had their cognitive abilities questioned. Both have made statements in public and done other things in public which have led to these questions. If somebody is going to comment on one of the candidates based on his experiences, I think it is fair game to ask that person what his opinion is of the other candidate as well.
They are both dip shitty. Biden has never been a smart of coherent man. People act like all of a sudden he’s become incoherent. He’s just as sharp as he was 30 years ago. He just wasn’t very sharp back then.
Trump’s decline is much more notable. He use to be a very good speaker. More coherent. Witty. 30 years ago he was much more focused and clear.
Either way it’s just a weird way to act a portal opponent rather than focusing on their views
