$32,970 for a World Cup ticket? Fans aren’t fond of FIFA prices
While I would like to see business’ in host cities make money, I really would like to see FIFA embarrassed by empty seats.
There was an F1 event I was invited to attend. The tickets were like 80K. I could afford that but why? I wouldn’t get 80k of enjoyment for it.

I think you can get Super Bowl tickets for less than that.
F1 is more international, so they jack up the price because people are already paying for travel expenses.
I’ve heard some cities are jacking up the price of public transit for the Cup.

My brother went to a F1 race in Miami a few years ago and grandstand tickets were under $1,000. He did get free tickets to a few parties and events, he’s loaded but said there was LOADED money there.
F1 and Horse Racing are MONEY sports.

The British team (and I’m assuming some hooligans) are staying about a mile from where I live.
Doesn’t go near the stadium, hotels, or a vast majority of shopping centers.
Yeah but given they will need a place to stay…it won’t be near the stadium. And if they stay downtown, the trolley’s can take them to some entertainment areas.
Not nearly enough space downtown for them to stay.
The trolley is a novelty, not anything used for actual transit.
