reminds me of this Kevin O’Leary

this might be a better way to phrase the same video

What is easier to replace? The wife or the Thanksgiving game? I think he needs a new wife

After being married and all kidding aside, a fiancé that puts that kind of demand on a guy is not worth marrying. Boundaries are healthy, ultimatums are destructive and shows a lack of compatibility

Let the man go to the game he won tickets for and be happy and excited for him.

In my book that would be a reasonable choice, if she was only fiancé but article says wife.

Once upon a time there was a championship game, Auburn vs UT. Would have been my first football game to watch in many years. I sat down and turned it on and late wife pitched a bitch as she regularly did usually 2 or 3 times a week at least. I got up, went out and got my chainsaw and worked in the woods. Never saw the game. Cutting wood was far more pleasant than listening to raging wife.

The article says it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. From 1977 thru 1987 I attended almost every Dallas Thanksgiving Day game. I missed 1980 because I was in Ohio.

The article reads like a made up story for the internet.

It very likely is. That site was notorious for running “human interest” stories that were decades old. I am not sure if it’s changed from years past but in Dallas back then Thanksgiving Day tickets weren’t all that hard to come by, nor were the pricier than other games.

Also, since it was family at Thanksgiving, and the Lions game is the first game…all they need to do is have dinner at 5 or so.

It is also a total yawner. Who gives a flying :poop: if some couple is squabbling over something like this?

People get divorced every day over disagreements like this.
