We do rocks and plants that we don’t have to water or otherwise tend to very often. Whether or not it is landscaping is in the eye of the beholder.
I cant imagine a battery riding mower working for me. I normally mow about 2 acres. This year we have drought and the last time i mowed in june. We got a little water and grass grew some. Instead of cutting i ran a temporary hot wire to let the horses graze my yard.
The drought and heat is bad this year. Massive hay shortage that is going to cost ranchers a boat load to keep their livestock fed. We need to start feeding hay today with hay thay is 2X so we will end up spending 4x to feed the horses this year
