We have more solar and renewable energy than ever, plus lighting and appliances are more energy efficient than ever yet electric bills keep going up.
Yes but more and more things are consuming electricity. When I was a kid in 80-90’s not everyone had a PC (or 3-4). Not everyone had a TV in every room. Nobody had cell phones. EV’s were not a thing. Grandma still used the clothes line. My grandparents didn’t have their first window AC until mid 90’s and didn’t get central heat/air until 2010’s.
This reminds me of the legalization of recreational marijuana here in NM. When the issue was raised, a number of people raised concerns about the use of water by mj. After all, the state is mostly a desert The governor and legislature dismissed that concern as a nonissue because they planned to tax the hell out of mj. It passed easily. Now, the state has two problems. Resultant water consumption is an issue becoming a problem with no solution. The dispensaries are now complaining that the high taxes imposed have reduced sales and customers and a couple went out of business. As a result, taxes collected below projections and slowly shrinking.
Government at its finest.
My buddy still uses his weed chick instead of the dispensaries, she’s cheaper and offers the same quality and selection. He’ll occasionally buy from the weed store if they have a great deal on a strain he likes.
I noticed a $140 Venmo payment on my kids checking account every month or so when he was in college, so I asked him about it. It was his weed guy, $140 for an ounce of very good weed. Three buddies would each give him $50 for a quarter ounce, my some would get his quarter ounce free and make $10.
So he will turn to a criminal to get his drugs. Be careful of fentanyl. To hear our president and his attorney general, they stopped enough fentanyl and save the lives of 200 million Americans. Your son and buddy are lucky.
I live in a state where weed isn’t legal (it is two miles away) but thanks to the Agriculture Act of 2018, THC derived from hemp and not marijuana is legal in pretty much every state. It is equally as potent and I can order by mail order and it is delivered to my front door. I have gummies, but I get a package of 2,000 milligram gummies that I cut into quarters, giving me 50mg per gummie - a little over a month, for $65. No tax. If I go to a Missouri dispensary I’d almost pay that much in tax alone.
I always wondered what the loophole was.
The more you know!!
It appears that Musk feels that AI needs more of a “smartest person in the world” touch to get it right,.
Lol
Which one do you hate more, KC? Trump or Elon?
If each of them died from a shark attack at different times, which one would give you a bigger orgasm?
The real LOL is that “artificial intelligence” is great until your own tool calls you out. So the results from Grok will be truly artifiicial.
So the answer is you hate Elon more than Trump.
Do your ears get red when you talk about him?
