Same here, so not that odd. I just don’t care for her music. As for a wedding, I much prefer ours - in our living room in front of our Christmas tree.

Her don’t care for acting or music. I think she’s odd looking. To each their own. I hope she has a good prenup. If he doesn’t work out, he’d benefit from it
I don’t think an invite would be enough to get me to NYC, especially since it is nearly 20 degrees hotter there than here..

I do not understand the worship culture around Taylor Swift one bit.
She’s a performer among hundreds, and in my observation a pretty average, unremarkable one.
Is she spectacularly talented in a way I am missing? Or is this just media telling kids what they like?
She has talent but more importantly she is a nice person. She takes care of the help as she gave $200 million bonus to the help from stage hands to truck drivers on her last tour. She sings many types of songs and no foul language like the Rap idiots,

I have many levels. Wife dragged me to her concert when she was country. It was good entertainment. I enjoyed the eye candy walking around. I knew she was going to be something big when I saw all the young girls dressing alike and like her. I also have had a beer with KC in KC when I was there. He found out I can make the waitress die laughing
Probably reasonably priced tickets then.
May have to donate a kidney and half a liver now to see her in concert.
But by all accounts, she is a good person, and has seemed to been a calming influence on Kelce.
I actually think Jason Kelce’s wife is much hotter thought.

Back when my daughter was younger, we used to blast a lot of T Swift and Miley Cyrus out of the Jeep Wrangler with the top off.
She’s huge on her public image. She protects her brand. My girlfriends brother knows her well. He’s worked her concerts before.
When Bieber was younger, he was a huge fan of Bieber. He was very well mannered, polite and thankful. He treated all the staff with respect. I guess is mother is pretty awesome as well. She said being the star doesn’t make you important or something similar.
This might be my favorite exchange ever on this board.
I think what makes her a little bit different from other rock or music acts, is that she is extremely generous to the staff that make her concert successful, which in turn makes her rich. I know everybody hated seeing her on Sundays when the Chiefs played, but she “tipped“ the service staff their suite handsomely.. over the past two years for her last tour she paid the staff $197 million in bonuses. That’s kind of like Elon making employees of SpaceX millionaires when his stock went public. It’s kind of unheard of these days.
I don’t think I would recognize any of her songs if I heard them. But I think she is a pretty good person. Still, given all that and the hoopla around her dating and marriage, I don’t expect it to last. and not because of her. Travis can seem a bit immature at times.
