This year I decided to try to spare the mail chick of any further encounters with wife’s Viscious standard poodle, and just forward mail to PO box. [For those who don’t know, a standard poodle is noisy but definitely not viscious!] Anyway we have mail bouncing, unable to deliver or forward, and returned to sender after a month or so. USPS service request gets nice chat with local employee, who says I didn’t go back in and prove my identity, as in last year’s thread. I did, but at a different post office. Unable to deliver because they ASSUME parcel is empty. (Makes an ASS of you and me.) So that explains why they refuse to just deliver, even though they sure stick enough junk mail in the box. I then axe would she check on other (rental) parcel and she can find nothing!
Well, I did that other one a couple of months ago, ONLINE, and got an official acknowledgement of my $1.25 Credit card identity Verification. Everything looks good but I follow the link to confirm and it says STILL BEING PROCESSED! WTF and FFS! Enter another service request, with the confirmation code and we will see where that goes. I ain’t paying another $1.25!
Moral of story: @Maven don’t trust your USPS forwarding until you have verified it.

So you are for voting with no ID ??? KC if you would think a little instead of being against everything Trump you would understand the reason for double checking identification is because of all the illegals and fraud in this country. Open borders have consequences.
No T, what I am saying is that we already have the mechanisms in place to prosecute someone for lying about being a citizen on their voter registration. They simply checked the box and stated that under the penalty of perjury, I am a citizen of the United States. Under the SAVE act, we must prove our citizenship in order to register to vote. It won’t impact you because we will grandfather existing registered voters (including the illegals who registered to vote and cost Trump the election). But when you move into a different precinct, you’re going to need to re-register to vote and you’re going to need to prove your citizenship again. I don’t have a problem with voter ID. I showed my drivers license to vote this last time. Absolutely zero issues with that. But this bullshit of making it so difficult for an American citizen born and raised here to register to vote is unnecessary. Please don’t confuse voter ID with the SAVE act
Yeah seem to recall something like that. This time according to USPS employee you must prove yourself twice. This is counter to the official acknowledgement that says they got your Credit card validation. Still must go in and I am not sure what you gotta show.
