United passenger claims he was nearly kicked off plane because flight attendant found his T-shirt offensive

Any idiot knows you don’t mention bombing when trying to board an aircraft.

I’m all for free speech but airports are sensitive areas. People want to create drama at the wrong location.

Flight attenders are given a lot of power. Don’t piss one off.

A while back I said I don’t wear anything with a message or brand on it. Going through my closet I found a top that says “Good vibes” I had forgot about.

One of the old airline jokes when I was still flying was if you saw a friend “Jack”, don’t yell out: “Hi Jack!”.

I had on a t shirt from the army. It said something that could be seen as obnoxious. Flight attendant said I have to change. Pilot said, no, he’s fine.

I guess the pilot has the final say. I can’t remember what the suit said, it was one of our unit shirts. He recognized that he was military and was good.

There is zero chance this could be interpreted as a threat. This was clearly political.

Reverse the roles and thé FA likely isn’t offended.

I never claimed it was a threat but there things you don’t say or do at airport like wear a shirt talking about bombs. That is just a duh moment.

Huh?

If it’s a t shirt criticizing Palestine instead of Israel, FA says nothing.

The Captain. The First Officer (co-pilot) wouldn’t say ***t, he would defer to the Captain.

So if I wore a t-shirt that said I against random acts of terrorism it would be the same thing?

That’s basically what she did
