No injuries and not my fault. Guy rear ended me. It was slow and no major damage.
The issue is it was not my car. It was a brand new Ford Bronco Sport that was a loaner from the dealership. My Maverick is in the shop doing all the recall.
At least the guy admitted fault and has insurance. It could always be worse.
How is the maverick holding up?

Its got about 100K miles. Only item needing replaced was the 12V battery.
It’s in for airbag recall and about 6 other electronic reprogramming recalls.
At least the guy was an honest person. I got call from my agent that the other guy already admitted and his insurance company is going to pay up. The accident happened about 1 pm and less than 4 hours later the claim is processed and done. They aren’t going to be able to fight the dealership on the value of the damage or what the dimished value is going to be. The dealership is the most qualified to access the damage, cost, and value.

I have a friend who had a broken back from an accident in a loaner. I think it was her fault though.
