I will now get a second opinion when they recommend a repair.

I’ve been going to the same small shop for at least 15 years and really trust them. Three things every man needs in his life are a good butcher, a good mechanic, and a good woman.

All three in one would be exceptional!!
…also good to have neighbors who are handy in doing things like carpentry,plumbing, electrical. Will also add, neighbors who are very proficient with Computers.

My neighbor is in construction and while I did almost my entire fence by myself, framing a gate was out of my wheelhouse. He told me what to buy and did it for me, so I bought him a bottle of Captain. He wouldn’t have taken money, but nobody will refuse liquor.

I agree as there are kinds of people who will try and gas light you.
About a year ago a mechanic told me that my tire treads were about to seperate from the main body of the tires and that I need to replace all four tires.
I got a second opinion from an independent tire shop and they told me that the Toyota dealer was just trying to sell me a set of new tires.
Since that occurred I have driven the car about 10,000 miles without any problems with the tires.
During my most recent visit I was told that the car was loosing oil and they showed me a video of what was supposed to be my dipstick with almost no oil on it.
They filled it with oil and I started checking the oil after ea ch time that I filled the gas tank.
No significant oil loss.
Also, I recognized that the dipstick in the video was wider than my car’s dipstick.
I am through with this dealer.
Another issue is that they have an A+ rating with the BBB.
So much for BBB ratings.
Just went into a Natural Grocery looking for a local creamery cheese spread. Bunch of Subaru’s with Bernie stickers and smelled like patchouli and armpits.
