The upside of inflation? It reduces America’s enormous wealth gap

I am putting this under the Humor category for obvious reasons.

It’s incredibly specious reasoning on a wealth or net worth gap; it assumes those who have wealth won’t invest it properly and that people subject to debt will either keep the same interest rates or with more money in circulation pay off devalued debt

If I invest, there is an equity risk premium that compensated me for taking risk thru a reduction in the cost per $ of earnings. Also don’t be surprised if credit cards have a 40% interest rate if inflation > 10%. We agree that mortgage equity likely would increase but other types of debts would likely be worse as would savings and money market accounts

I can only imagine this dumbass got an econ degree from Boston U.
