What other nonsense should be in end zones? The only way to stop this nonsense is to affect the players salary.
So your contract says you get xxx,xxx.xx per game based on estimated x attendance and y TV ratings. Failure to attain these numbers will affect your pay as it affects the league and owners revenue.
