The flu

I had to go to on onsite meeting. One of my workers was positive for flu A and didn’t tell anyone.

I ponder what the hell is wrong with people.

I don’t think I’ve ever had the flu before. This is miserable.

Yep taking tamiflu. All my joints hurt. What is weird is around 6pm my heart races and my fever goes up. lol. Like clock work

I am so glad I don’t work anymore. During flu season there were employees who didn’t want to ruin their “perfect attendance” record - even though our sick leave never stopped accruing. The sound of people hacking, sneezing and coughing up a lung one cubicle over from me always gave me the warm fuzzies.

I think she felt she was to important to miss. She wasn’t.

I have gotten a lot better.
I used to go to work no matter what.
I have determined I am not that important.

In the old days I get it. In the modern era especially in my job in makes no sense.

Sorry to hear that. My wife and I happened to get our flu shots this morning.

I rarely get the flu shot as it makes me horribly ill. I was debating about getting it in November after my travel

It usually tires me out greatly for the rest of that day. Not sure why, but that hasn’t happened this year.

I tend to get flu like symptoms for a week.

I never called in sick my first 5 years, then my boss told me it really doesn’t matter. I take full advantage of my 10 paid sick days every year now.

I have an older sister who recently went to Ireland for 13 day. It was a group tour.

Not sure if it was the flu or not, but she said that half of the people on the bus she was on suffered some type of respiratory sickness. Don’t know if someone caught it on the plane, and that person transferred it to the people on the bus.

Same here, mine was a breeze, so was the Covid shot.

I feel like there is a special place in hell for these people.

Our jobs will say goodbye to us one day. Only got one body.

And who wants to be the person that consciously gets others sick.

It’s despicable.

I’m always coughing up a lung but if I’m sick I do stay home. I have very severe dust allergies and moderate allergies to animals.

People’s scents can bother me too

Possibly a stronger dose
