Haha. It would be more meaningful if they would put a cap on price.
I think they are still ignoring fly over country. In a wired up city, lots of speed is reasonable. There are however plenty of people who struggle to get anything half decent. After dial-up I lived with a wireless ISP providing about 3 mbps download. Still that was good compared to POTS which has truly gone to pot.
Since I moved to the land of Commie Cast, 25 to 50 mbps is acceptable. They just declared that my “up-to” 75 mbps would be doubled. They lied only the uplink got a bump. But they are Commies what do you expect?
