Kind of a weird criterion for choosing who to root for, but you do you.
Well if KC had beaten Cincy… I’d be with them.
Although frankly, KC wining on 2 Overtime Coin Flips did not impress me… so I was happy that Cincy got a shot. As I said, I did not have a dog in that hunt.

Yes Rodgers and Brees would agree with you that it’s good they won early on. I’d say the same thing about Mahommes. The Chiefs are my sons team
We have not really watched football. Now with Brady gone, I don’t know if I’ll continue to root for the Pats / Bucs. I’m also disappointed my team is no longer the Redskins and I despise the Ravens so I don’t really have a team that I really root for anymore
I definitely have to say that the wokeness of pro sports has ruined it for me

The Patriots were my team and I rooted the Bucs too. I lost my MIL the day after the Bucs won the super bowl so it doesn’t have the same meaning

I have always been a contrarian… back in the days of the Yankee Dynasty, my Brother was for the Yankees, I was for the National League team unless the AL team was other than the Yankees. I still remember most of the Brooklyn Dodgers starting lineup even though I only saw them in the World Series.
