Thought I had posted this. DIY orthodontics was a joke. Patients cannot take decent impressions of their own teeth. Untrained technicians planning your treatment in Costa Rica without seeing a patient. Complete joke that violated practice laws in a lot of states. Did a lot of damage to a lot of patients- tooth roots resrorbed, gum problems, caused need for root canals.
But as usual, the founders took a lot of money out and are rich, and creditors are left holding the bag. Same old story, time after time.
