Forgot how much I liked Sting’s music in the 80’s.
Pulled him up on Spotify and his voice is amazing.
Fun fact I just learned, he is the voice of “I want my MTV” in the Dire Straits song “Money for Nothing”.
I just finished going through the Police discography. Was surprised to learn that Syncronicity was their last album.
What did the rest of the band do after Sting left?
No idea.
Quick wiki search shows two of them were doing movie scores.
I heard a few years ago that Sting wasn’t really interested in making albums or touring, he was just hanging out in his guest cottage smoking pot and playing his guitar. Not a bad retirement in my opinion.
