I knew Waylon ways on that trip; he was in Buddy Halley’s band and had to go on in his place after the crash. But I had never seen a photo of him with Valens.
I wondered if that was Valens, but haven’t seen a pic of him for so long I wasn’t sure. I think there was one band that played behind the 3 performers on the last trip. Story is that Waylon gave up his seat on that last flight.
