Still on some auction mailing lists from my baseball card collecting days. Some interesting cards if you have a few bucks in your pocket.
That’s big money. A guy I work with used to buy and sell cards, I think it was like gambling where he would tell you all about the big money he made on some card but not on all the cards he lost on.
A month or two ago I was at Target with my wife on a weekday morning and there was a bunch of 20 somethings loitering near the front of the store, I asked an employee what was going on and they said some card is being released at 10:00 a.m. and they were lining up to buy a box. The same thing happened at Costco a few weeks ago with Pokemon cards.
If I had the money, I would go after that Batman comic!!
