Another RIP

My wife saw his obit online. He was an incredible sax player. We were lucky to see him twice in the 90s, once with McCoy Tyner and the other with Milt Jackson (both of whom are also gone).
I added something of his to my someday list earlier today. I like that he seems to have always been searching for the perfect sound.
I was listening to an episode of Norah Jones’ podcast a while back and learned that Christian McBride and Questlove went to high school together. And then, the three of them covered a Kristofferson song I had just listened to right before putting that podcast episode on.
And now, something completely different.
