150 mile range and can be converted into an SUV.
I’ve read a few articles on it, meh. The price is expected to be $28,000 for the base but could be much higher when it hits showrooms.
Its a nice try but I don’t imagine it being a success. 130 mile advertised range will be less than 100 in real world driving where you need heat and AC. That is going to cause some real range anxiety.
What we have here is an excellent neighborhood car that should come equipped with a golf bag holder because it is an extended range, high speed, golf cart for the price of a real vehicle.
I agree with both of you.
I’m not interested in owning an electric car. How old I posted on it because the price range is new for an electric vehicle and this may be cause troubles or Tesla and others.
I believe hybrid is the way to go because I get very good mileage on my 2014 Prius V which only has 140,000 miles on it. I intend to keep it until For the rest of my life. At age 86 I’m quite sure this will probably be our last car.
Of course, there are times when I wish I had a pickup truck.
I watched a couple videos on the Slate last night. I like the bare bones idea, but the range is still too low and the price too high.
