I am having trouble quoting within a post on my phone. I can do it on a laptop, and I can copy and paste quote other sites on my phone.

I am having issues on an ipad. I rarely use my phone for this site, but it’s an Iphone. On my iPad I I can highlight, but I get the copy, paste, etc functions, but it is hit or miss getting the “quote” option. One other thing that I’m not sure others get…I have caught myself thinking I am going to quote a post, but accidentally hit the “edit” option - and it lets me. What I mean is I might want to quote parrots post but I hit edit by accident and I can edit HIS post. I tested this on one, making a change (that took) and went back in and removed my edit.

Take that back, I got out of the site and back in and it works now
It worked on my iPad too, however… When selecting this, I inadvertently got your username at the top of the post. It did not give me the quote function then and when I went back and tried to select it, it wouldn’t work. I had to cancel and start it again, but it did work finally.
I had to do that last week, but seems to be working normal now.
