I didn’t read the magazine but I have heard the swimsuit issue drove profits.
A 2013 article by Business Insider says that is only about 7% of the profit.
Unlike woke lefties the the men I know don’t want to see a bulge in a woman’s bathing suit.
Definitely an issue, but I can’t imagine that is the driving factor in them going under.
Profit or revenue? I always heard that is what kept them going. COuld be sales have declined or I got bad information.
Back before the internet porn, that was the easiest thing most kids could get.
I’m sure it’s a lot more to it also, but they should stick to sports instead of social issues. People watch and follow sports to get away from all the bullshit and take their mind off the 24/7 media noise.
Yeah I can’t see that helping sales. Most woke people don’t really want to sleep with a trans woman. They just want to act better than anyone else.

But not a real clear explanation of why they fell so fast.

The swimsuit issue is a nice snapshot of the shitforbrains disease that corporate America execs have today.
They are completely detached from reality and living in the echo chamber of media programming.
Smart businesspeople know that consumers don’t want all this woke trash everywhere…that it goes against basic human instinct. Propping up and rewarding weakness.
Not surprising they have run the company into the ground. Keep doubling down on stupid and that’ll happen.
