When running speedtest.net on firefox the download is about half the speed than running it with edge Edge. I would expect a difference but not by half. Any ideas?
Pretty much all browsers have now adopted the Chromium (Google) engine, except Firefox. Not saying this is the culprit…but I wouldn’t use Firefox anymore…

After reading your comment, I just tried this with Firefox and Edge, both latest versions and both times accessing the same Comcast server. My computer is wired to the router and I didn’t try the wifi. The results were nearly identical, within Edge less than1% slower.
I disabled the only extension in FireFox (AdBlock Plus) running. No change. Strange.
I use uBlock Origin in both browsers and did not disable it in either test.
