I mentioned a while back that I was being given an award through my employer, and yes, there was some politics involved. I briefly thought of declining it, but didn’t.

The ceremony was this week, along with the speech I gave. It was called the Jack Hernandez Phronesis Award & Lecture, so I had to give the lecture.

Not that I expect any of you to watch this, but the info is here.

Edit because I forgot to mention: phronesis is a Greek/Latin word for “practical wisdom.” So, I have been deemed practically wise. Feel free to laugh.

Kool you got the award. I watched, if anyone one else wants to watch with limited time, mcarley starts at the 20 minute mark, and you’ll get to see him in his underwear.
