NFL Quarterback Dead at 24 After Accident

“Dwayne Haskins, a standout at Ohio State before becoming Washington’s first-round pick and playing in Pittsburgh, died this morning when he got hit by a car in South Florida, per his agent Cedric Saunders,” he tweeted. “Haskins would have turned 25 years old on May 3,” he added.

I looked at Steelers Depth Chart and he is not listed.
Have the Depth Charts been updated or had he not made the team.

Either way it is sad.
One wonders why he was walking across an interstate.

I thought here in NM was the only place people did that. We have had numerous pedestrians who have died crossing I25 or I40. I’ve had to avoid a couple driving here. I have never seen that elsewhere.

You hear about it sometimes in KC. I don’t know why people think that they can beat a car - especially on an urban freeway, which usually have more lanes.

He played last as the Steelers third string Quarterback

Evidently they are poor judges of speed.

You can cross any road, with cars moving at any speed. You just need more distance the faster they are traveling.

Some of the cases like this may be “Pedestrian suicide”.
