Should be interesting, I’d like to see both chains and the new technology used at first. My guess is once the bugs are worked out the new tech will be more accurate.
Looks like they will test in pre-season and probably start next year.
I have always thought it was crazy that a dimple of the ball can determine a first down, but the actual spotting of the ball was so random.

We’re going to exactly measure, within an inch, whether you made exactly 10 yards from where sorta kinda estimated you started from.
