Without any data to back these claims, I am skeptical of the “world is ending “ scenario.
But my question is, who decided this was needed?
Seems like it is low hanging fruit to show a revenue gain.
Implode the industry does seem a tad dramatic.
I suspect most of those who voted for it had little idea what this would do.
Nate Silver posted about it, that is where I saw it first.
But, this is one time where he does have personal bias.
I follow Nate’s substack, but not Twitter.
He’s usually aware of his biases and he would have a good idea what effect this would have.
