A hobby like this is basically free. Maybe $50 to get started and your ready to go. Plus you are doing good and cleaning out some of the trash from the waterways.
This is similar to metal detecting. I had one as a kid and loved it.
In a recent video, that guy in Detroit said he had pulled out more than 60 pistols and numerous long guns. In one of the videos, he pulled a bunch of pipe bomb. I’m amazed at the street signs, bicycles and assorted car parts he has pulled out. In a smaller river outside Detroit, he pulled out a motorcycle, generally intact but still a mess.
