The Mushrooms - Glenn Frey’s Detroit area band before he left for LA and bigger things. Seeing this performed was as close as I ever got to seeing the Eagles.
Doug Brown and the Omens - Bob Seger’s first recording was with the Omens on this 45 before he left to go solo.

Here’s a related number - East Side Story by Bob Seger and the Last Heard. This is his first record as presented by Robin Seymour. a Detroit DJ who had a local TV dance program. Only time I saw Seger was at the Hideout doing this song.
I’ll be checking Larkin Poe out. A week ago we saw Max Gomez in a smallish club. He did this song. He has others on Youtube and he puts on a good show.

I saw Clark on Opry Live. Excellent performance.
