I have been shaving my head for a few months.
Decided to go with a head specific electric shaver this week.
I am looking for pre-shave oils and it seems that Lectric Shave from the seventies is still the leading product in that market.
Almost none of the beard oil guys carry anything like it.
I don’t think that’s an oil.
When I use electric. I use a dry rub stick
I will look for that .
I may have to go to a specialty store to find something
Amazon has everything and you can check the reviews, I’d search there first.
I have looked and my issue is that Lectric is like $5 everything else is about $30.
(Yes I am being cheap)
Try it, a lot of the $30 stuff is just marketing. A few years ago my wife got me some expensive beard oil for Christmas, I like the cheap Grave Before Shave brand better.
That isn’t the brand i use but oddly they all the similar. I wonder if one company makes them then everyone resells them.
I don’t use an electric shaver often but when I travel, I do.
To be honest, I will probably get the Lectric. It has been around so long and still the leading brand it has to be doing something right
No help. I haven’t shaved my face in at least 12 years.
My son told me I missed the opportunity to go full Duck Dynasty during the pandemic
That logic sounds like…Taco Bell is the leader in Mexican food, they must be doing it right.
A good thread to read after coming home from the barber. I used Lectric Shave eons ago when I used an electric razor and it did help keep down “razor burns”. Use a Mach 3 today. I have a cousin with very little on top, but a bushy gray beard down to his chest that he grew during covid.
I use Harry’s razor on my face, but just went to an electrical on my shaved head
