Just got our tickets for New Year's Eve Celebration

That’s what we’re planning on doing, we’ve been going out and having people over a lot since Thanksgiving. A quiet night at home is underrated.

My cycling group is doing our 6th annual New Years Eve ride at 11. We’ll ride about 10 miles and then gather at one of our favorite reataurant/bar for drinks. There is a craft brewery here that is German inspired (KC Bier) and they celebrate New Years at 5, when it is midnight in Germany. I may or may not go to that…there’s a gal who kind of likes me who is going so…

Yes indeed. This is no longer the big question.

Got the same ticket, though mine includes caring for a panicked dog deathly afraid of fireworks.

Why don’t you give him some of your Jack Daniels?

I’d medicate her, but unfortunately, it’s not just one night. New year’s, Independence Day, Dodgers win, random Tuesday.

Just got back from my New Years…The weather was cool at the start so I had planned a short 10 mile ride. At the halfway point everybody wanted to go longer, so we did and ended up with 22 miles. We stopped at our favorite place and almost overwhelmed the only waitress they had working, but little did she know that my group tips good. She was sweet and handled the group great. THEN some of us went to the German brewery to celebrate a German New Year (at 5). That place was packed, but it was fun, with lots of good friends…and one that might make 2026 a very nice year. I think we look kinda good together
