It’s my Birthday, my first without my Dad Gene, who died last year in early Oct.

Losing a parent is hard. I lost my dad in 2001 and my mom in 2004. I’m 68 and still feel the loss all these years later with the Facebook wishes are posted.

Sorry about your loss. I lost my Mother back in October 1992, a day after my 39th Birthday.

My parents died in 2011 and 2013. More than a decade later, I think about them every day. It doesn’t help that every morning I look in the mirror and see my dad looking back.
Sorry to hear that. It’s odd how it never goes away. My dad died years ago. I’m turning 53 this year with is the same age as when he died. So I know that’ll put things in perspective
