If I were the President, I think I would just stay home. I would hate to think that in-stadium communications might be shut down at a critical time in the game because I had to take a leak.
Well that’s because you are a decent human being and not a narcissist.
Emperor Nero, I mean Donald Trump, is a different story.
one reason there was some uproar over DOGE was that while they were busy chainsawing the government in order to “cut wasteful spending”, the US spent millions of those “saved” dollars to accommodate the presidents wishes to taken in a quarter at the super bowl and watch a couple of laps of the Daytona 500.
It makes sense but I never knew they did that.
The Big Bloated Bullshit bill to me was the most offensive example of hypocrisy juxtaposed to DOGE.
It became extremely obvious in May of 25 that Trump had zero intent of fulfilling his promises to cut spending and put out the financial house fire.
DOGE was just a stunt to shut down USAID (good) but with no follow through whatsoever for meaningful change. USAID was just a drop in the bucket, more than offset by massive increases in other spending.
