That’s a shame. Before SNL hit US TV, one benefit from living across the river from Canada was that we could watch SCTV (a very funny sketch comedy show). She was a regular, along with Martin Short, Rick Moranis, Dave Thomas, John Candy, Eugene Levy and others, many of whom ended up on SNL or elsewhere in US comedies.

Every one of those people were amazing. She was was funny and beautiful.

My girlfriend loved the creek show.

I found it very mediocre and blah. Didn’t find it deserving of the Emmys it got. Didn’t care for O’Hara’s portrayal especially.

In any case, she was a good actress overall. RIP.

Both Home Alone parents gone now.

I saw that. It’s been disclosed that she died of a rare case of situs invertus. Several of her internal organs were in a mirror image of their common location (such as her heart being on the right side). She only discovered that as an adult.
