Patrick Mahomes (who is half white) had made millions off of his signature hairstyle wig/headband and this twit reporter is calling it “appropriation”.
I opened this link thinking somebody was complaining that Mahomes afro was ‘appropriation’. Obviously Mahomes is at least half black.
The article is complaining about a teacher who wore a Mahomes wig on jersey day, presumably with a Mahomes jersey. This is a non-story, it gets controversial when the teacher also colors his skin to look more like Mahomes.
