That is hilarious
I like it, no excuses and no blaming others. Pretty funny too.
Here is Scotty Scheffler answering a Reporterās dumb question.
That was the first thing I thought of
Good God. Can we elect him to Congress and one day the White House?
You never see the political class admitting to a mistake, ever ever ever.
Always somebody elseās fault.
True, but thatās partly because we accuse them of hypocrisy every time they change their position. Iād love to have one just say, I learned more about the subject and revised my opinion.
I have seen a couple of social conservatives change their stance on gay marriage after a family member comes out.
I donāt have an issue with a change in mind. I donāt like people who change just to be change.
Kamala flips based on polls.
Trump recently has done the same thing. Iām not a fan of that.
Anyways back to the topic. I love this guys answer. lol. No bs. Just this is what I did
When I was significantly younger, i looked at as a lifestyle choice. Then I knew and worked with a number of folks who were gay or lesbian, and realized I was wrong. In fact, I became good friends with a gay man who ended up being the best man at my wedding, twice because the first one didnāt stick. He and his partner and my wife and I became great friends. Iād like to think that my change of opinion is a sign of maturity.
I respectfully disagree. Our so called leaders need to be able to take some tough love from the public and have the character, strength, and humility to admit being wrong in the face of criticism.
Then they need to try again, incorporating what theyāve learned, without getting their feelings hurt like little girls or worrying about their political careers like spineless weasels.
The public, on the other hand, needs to learn to scrutinize character before voting. That is an extremely daunting task, to think about how to force voters to do that. It requires them to unlearn a lot of wrong things theyāve learned, and are continually being brainwashed with to date.
Youāve come a long way. Usually, you insultingly disagree.
Fair critique.
