Nope I just clean the heads and adjustments. It prints fine for tax returns I don’t use it for pictures
Try 1ink.com, cheap, like 50% and as good as Brother’s toner.
First of all I won’t use brother. War story has been out there since 2006 at what-a-story.blogspot.com — printer was nice but support sucked.
Have long used a Samsung ml-2950, and new bride brought a lesser Samsung that is also good. That line was so good that HP bought it.
Wife also bought an Epson ink printer that I use mostly for flat scanning, and I have an ibm color laser that has never broke.
We have an Epson - 4800 using refillable ink and get a large amount of prints per ink charge.
Have had some connection issues recently but they have been resolved.
I got away from an all-in-one printer/scanner when I discovered Genius Fax for my iPhone.
It’s always with me and does great document and image scans, creates PDFs & images, then print, FAX, email or text it from your phone.
