Aside from the tip you would normally leave for the service, what guideline do you use for determining a Christmas tip for your hair stylist or Barber.
Extra $20 on top of normal tip

My wife has been going to the same woman for years and she gives $50 plus buys a little gift for her 2 young girls. The stylist started working from home a few years ago to stay home with the kids.

That’s what I did. The same woman has been cutting my and my wife’s hair since we moved to NM. My wife gives her more.
That sounds reasonable. Women’s haircuts cost more.
