I use to use lendingclub and never had much luck with it. Many of the loans defaulted and now the platform is shutting down.

I have been using groundfloor.us with much better success. It is an interesting concept and I like the platform to date. They still need to enhance the product but the basic idea is solid. To date, I have had one loan default but they recovered all my money.

Peer to peer investing always seemed to be a higher risk than other investments. What kind of returns is Ground floor offering?

Varies. I average about 9%. I stick to the better loans. I have yet to lose any money. Lending club I lost more than I gained
