It is a rapidly growing sport, it is blowing up like crazy.
I thought this would be another article about boys wrestling girls.
Our high school girls wrestling team took a second and third this year at state a couple weeks ago.
The daughter of a good friend of mine from work is in the state finals here. This was a pic from her FAcebook page - the girl on the poster is her daughter.
they have had oil and mud versions in clubs for years 
Some high level youth girl will “wrestle up” a couple of tournaments in the boys division, when they reach about 13-14 the difference is too great to really be competitive.
I reffed a youth tournament a couple of months ago.
There was a 12 y/o girl who is such a badass she wrestled in the 14 y/o boys division and won it with zero problems.
That reminded me of Stripes!
Yup, was thinking I wouldn’t mind wrestling a girl like in Stripes.
I had read that this was John Candy’s least favorite scene.
I bet that is true.
