Like they did with EVs and battery manufacture, Ford went all in on AI. Now they lead the league in quality issues, and are trying a different tactic.
Found On Road Dead?
Did that replace Fix Or Repair Daily?
Ford’s quality has been sucking balls long before AI. Not sure if it was the engineers or bean counters but they produced some major dog turds. To be fair so has most other automakers. Basically most vehicles produced post 2015 has been less reliable and more costly to repair then then vehicles of the early 2000’s.
Fucked Over Rebuilt Dodge.
First On Race Day
Probably true, but I’ve been lucky with my Fords. My wife worked for Ford years ago and still gets the employee discount. My kid is driving my wife’s old 2015 Ford Escape and other than regular maintenance and tires. The only thing I’ve had to replace was a wheel bearing. I’m driving a 2017 Ford Fusion with 160,000 mi on it that I but used in 2020, other than routine maintenance and tires, I had to replace the cam sensor a few years ago.
My daughter absolutely HATES AI, I just forwarded her this article.
I had a few Fords - mostly 1990’s models and I liked all of them. I felt their quality was better than GM or Chrysler.
My last Ford product was 1989 Thunderbird Superbird.
