I do like Romo and he knows the game. I have friends who say: “He talks too much!” I tell them: “He’s paid to talk!”
But nobody compares to John Madden. He was my favorite commentator. After many plays he would use his grease pencil to describe the play and what happened. He knew the game. “One knee equals two feet”!
Madden was smart and entertaining. I think a huge bust is Tom Brady. He was a great QB, but he is just not announcer materiel
