These fires do seem to be linked specifically to saltwater because salt can conduct electricity. Similar problems haven’t been reported after freshwater flooding in California that was driven by heavy rains early this year
Proof that nobody knows more about electric boats and sharks that you know who.
Both plain water and slat water conduct electricity.
The conductivity of plain water is very low compared to salt water because it contains much less ions.
Just put these in the garage of a high rise that floods for a hurricane just to make things interesting
I was camping in my RV and the campground got flooded. I was standing in 12" deep water when I reached into the breaker box to shut off the power and unplug the camper. Not going to lie, I was worried that i might win a darwin award.
I have no doubt that sooner or later some idiot will actually wade out and try to charge an electric car at one of these flooded pumps and win the Darwin award.
Did you voice to test “Darwin” and it came out “ door one”?
That’s what happens when I dictate my post and don’t check them well enough.
I use the dictation function in Google docs.
