I think it’s a good idea as long as it does not record.
I’m against. With all the cameras and AI in our homes the only places I feel are private is in the bathroom and my car. Cars already have computerized (black boxes) that can tell an insurance co. and law enforcement all they need to know about speed, braking, etc. I don’t need a camera watching if I scratch my ass or pick my nose in my car.
The camera that is most likely to be used against me in the event that I cause an accident or create a traffic violation is the video produced by my Dash Cam.
You control the dash cam. You can turn it off or not use it if you want. This proposal is literally putting the government as a passenger in your vehicle. Maybe your bedroom is next.
If the government wants to watch me go to the gym every day and Walmart twice a week and to several other grocery stores or watch me while I uh pick my nose and scratch my ass that’s OK with me.
One other party that knows what I do and when is all states as I use their WI drivewise app. Then they go where I’ll go when I went what speeds I drove. If you get a good rating they give you a discount.
So far my rating is excellent.
